Though to see how items have survived for 100 years in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean in person gives you a connection that cannot be matched. When you first arrive to the exhibit, you are hande [...]
I've see the exhibit several times and it never ceases to amaze and sadden me. So many stories still need to be told, and this guide tells at least a few. Excellent account of the major facts of the Titanic from the construction the the tragedy of the sinking. Beautiful imagery of the retrieved artefacts. It's heartbreaking to read the fate of the passengers who didn't by survive. I highly, highly recommend going to the Exhibit if you can. It is absolutely amazing and eye opening. Don't forget to touch the iceberg if you want an idea of how cold the water was the early morning of the 15th April 1912. R.I.P. to the poor souls who perished.
